TRE® Global Certification Training (2025-2026) - One Year Programme

Focused on Sexual Health, Relational Stress, and Somatic Regulation
For Professionals in Psychology, Psychotherapy, and Somatic Practice

A Focused Pathway for Those Working with Sexual Health and Relational Stress

This TRE® Global Certification Training is designed for psychologists, therapists, and somatic practitioners who are either currently working in the field of sexual health, intimacy, and relational healing or who are looking to responsibly expand their professional scope in this direction.

The training offers the full TRE® Provider Certification pathway, while also addressing the clinical realities of working with trauma held in the body’s deeper relational and sexual systems, including shame, chronic contraction, boundary repair, pelvic tension, and the loss of safety in connection.

This is not a generalised training. It is a focused, academically grounded speciality programme for those committed to engaging with the intersections of stress physiology, trauma attachment, and somatic recovery in a respectful, structured, and evidence-informed way.

This training will be conducted in English.

Why This Training?

In therapeutic and somatic settings, practitioners frequently encounter trauma that shows up not only as anxiety, dissociation, or hypervigilance, but also in more nuanced ways:

  • In the collapse of trust or boundaries
  • In disrupted relational attachment patterns
  • In the loss of bodily autonomy and sexual disconnection
  • In chronic contraction/shutdown held in the core, pelvic bowl, or breath

This training addresses these patterns through the lens of tremoring - a safe, biological process that activates the body’s innate mechanism, supporting deep regulation without cognitive processing or narrative exposure.

You will learn how to responsibly support clients through this mechanism when the trauma in question relates to sexual history, relational rupture, developmental wounding, or long-standing patterns of nervous system dysregulation in intimate settings.

Who This Is For?

This training is suitable for professionals with a clinical or therapeutic background, such as:

  • Psychologists and psychotherapists
  • Relationship and sex therapists
  • Body-based practitioners working with trauma or intimacy
  • Somatic educators with experience in client care
  • Coaches and health professionals focusing on relational or sexual health

It is particularly suited for those working with clients navigating:

  • Sexual trauma, relational repair, or body-based shame
  • Chronic contraction or dissociation affecting intimacy
  • Nervous system patterns that interfere with arousal, safety, and boundary-setting

This training does not teach sexual techniques or work with sexuality directly. Rather, it builds somatic skill and clinical sensitivity for working with the physiological and emotional residue of sexual and relational stress.

What You’ll Learn

Participants will receive a full TRE® Provider Certification education, with additional insight into:

  • How trauma is stored and released through the body’s natural tremor reflex
  • How relational and sexual wounding show up somatically
  • How to safely facilitate tremoring in clients with relational histories
  • How to remain neutral, regulated, safe, and ethically boundaried in this work
  • How to integrate the work of TRE® into existing therapeutic or clinical frameworks
